Message from the Organizing Committee![]() Dear Colleagues, The Chairs and Organizing Committee cordially invite you to participate in the 14th International Symposium on the Chemistry and Biological Chemistry of Vanadium (V14 Symposium), which will be held in Osaka, Japan, from November 20th to 23rd, 2026. The purpose and significance of this symposium lie in sharing fundamental chemical knowledge about the element vanadium, while also discussing broad, interdisciplinary research findings across fields such as coordination chemistry, catalytic chemistry, organic synthetic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials chemistry, biology, physiology and biochemistry, pharmacology, and agricultural science. By bringing together vanadium researchers from diverse disciplines in a welcoming atmosphere, and facilitating the exchange of perspectives from fundamental to applied research—and vice versa—this symposium is expected to foster serendipitous discoveries and promote the development of novel interdisciplinary research. The V14 scientific program includes Plenary Lectures, Keynote Lectures, Invited Lectures, an Award Lecture, and poster presentations. Osaka is a vibrant city located in the Kansai region of Japan. It is known for its rich history, delicious cuisine, and lively atmosphere. As Japan's third-largest city, Osaka offers a perfect blend of traditional culture and modern entertainment. The transportation network is well developed, with trains and buses providing easy access to all parts of the city. It is accessible from most major Japanese cities—Tokyo, Nagoya, and Fukuoka—by Shinkansen bullet train. The city also offers convenient access to tourist destinations such as Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. The venue, Sugimoto Campus, is easily accessible from Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka Airport (ITM). We look forward to welcoming you in Osaka for this exciting event.
